Leeds Bradford has one terminal and a short list of places to eat and shop, most of them after security in the departure lounge. Before security there is a Greggs and a WHSmith. After security there are two sit-down restaurants with bars, a Burger King, a Starbucks, a WHSmith and World Duty Free. This page lists what is where, so you can plan breakfast or a meal around your flight.
Checked against Leeds Bradford Airport's own listings in October 2026; outlets change, so check the airport's site for opening hours.
For drop-off, how early to arrive and which parking to choose, see our guide to flying from Leeds Bradford Airport.
Before security
The choice landside is small, so if you want a proper meal, go through security first.
- Greggs: next to Check-in Hall A and open 24 hours, with pasties, sausage rolls, breakfast items and pizza slices to eat in or take away. It is the one place that is always open, which helps if you are dropping someone off or meeting a late arrival.
- WHSmith: newspapers, magazines, books, snacks and drinks.
The toilets and the smoking area before security are outside, at the terminal front, while the terminal is refurbished.
After security: restaurants and bars
- Monty's Diner: an American-style, family-friendly restaurant in the departure lounge. Breakfast runs until 11am, with waffles, French toast bites, a cooked breakfast, chicken and waffles and bagels. After that the all-day menu has burgers, wings, hot dogs, mac and cheese and barbecue platters, with a children's menu, milkshakes, cocktails and a bar. It is open daily from the first flight to the last.
- Tap & Brew: a craft beer bar and kitchen pouring beers from Salt Beer Factory, plus other draught favourites. Breakfast includes a full English, waffles and a breakfast naan; later there are burgers, loaded naans, fish and chips and salads. You order and pay from your table by scanning a QR code.
After security: quicker food and coffee
- Burger King: burgers, fries and sides, with soft drinks, hot drinks and beer. You order at touchscreens and can eat at a table or take it with you.
- Starbucks: hot and iced drinks, toasted sandwiches, pastries and cakes, with vegetarian and gluten-free sandwiches. Some tables have charging points.
- Livewell vending machines: cold drinks, snacks and travel essentials, by card or contactless.
After security: shops
- World Duty Free: on the first floor of departures, straight ahead from the escalator after security, for fragrance, beauty, drinks and confectionery. You can reserve online up to 30 days before you travel and collect and pay in store; allow at least 24 hours between ordering and collecting. What you can buy at duty-free prices depends on where you are flying, so check before you buy.
- WHSmith: books, magazines, snacks, drinks and gifts, as before security.
The airport no longer lists a pharmacy after security, so bring any medicines and sun cream you need from home.
Opening hours and timing
Apart from Greggs, the outlets open three hours before the first departure of the day and close once the last flight has boarded. At quiet times some may be closed or have a reduced menu. You cannot book a table at any of the restaurants or bars, so allow time for a queue at busy periods. If you want a guaranteed seat with food and drink included, compare the Leeds Bradford lounges.
Other useful things in the terminal
- Wi-Fi: free and unlimited throughout the terminal.
- Power banks: Joos rental stations by Check-in Hall A and after security by gates 1 and 2.
- Cash: ATMs around the terminal.
The terminal is being refurbished until the end of 2026, so outlets may move or change during the works; follow the signs on the day. Getting to the airport is covered on our directions to Leeds Bradford Airport page, and you can compare Leeds Bradford Airport parking for your dates.
