Most of Manchester Airport's food, drink and shopping is after security, in the departure lounges of Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. Terminal 2 has far more choice, including a street food hall, several pubs and a run of fashion and beauty shops. Terminal 3, used by Ryanair, is smaller but covers the basics. This page lists what is in each terminal, before and after security, so you can decide where to eat and how much time to leave.

Not sure which terminal you need, or how early to get there? Our guide to flying from Manchester Airport covers terminals, drop-off and pick-up, arrival times and parking.
Terminal 2

- Sainsbury's in the arrivals hall, open 24 hours, with a bakery and hot counter.
- Pret and WHSmith in arrivals, and Travelex at check-in and in arrivals.

Tips for eating and shopping at the airport
- Eat after security. In both terminals the restaurants and bars are in the departure lounge. Leave enough time to sit down and still reach your gate when it is called.
- Reserve duty free ahead. The airport's Reserve & Collect service lets you choose items online and pay when you collect, and it advertises 10% off when you reserve.
- Want somewhere quieter? A lounge includes food and drink in the entry price. See Manchester Airport lounges.
- Picking someone up late? M&S in Terminal 2 arrivals and Sainsbury's in Terminal 3 arrivals are both open 24 hours.
